NEWNESS UPDATE: Summer 2018 Test Candles Part 2 *UPDATED*

Well it seems BBW has some surprises up their sleeves; they are not done with summer as there a gang of (non-tropical) summer scents heading our way.

So the first set will additions to the WB Core line. They have smooth stone tumblers with the same sparkly marble lids like we saw last winter. Scents include...

Marshmallow Musk - Creamy Vanilla Musk, Fluffy Marshmallow, Golden Amber ( my guess is Marshmallow Pumpkin Latte) 

White Caramel Cold Brew - Cold Brew Coffee, Sweet Cream, Buttery Caramel (Pumpkin Caramel Latte maybe? Or perhaps Twisted Caramel Gelato?) 


So far the only returning scents are Vanilla Birch aka Wine Cellar without the wine) and everyone's favorite, Ma-blah-gony Stankwood


The next collection has sort of a camping in the woods vibe, similar to the infamous Summer Lake/Lakeside collection. It has very vivid crisp pictures corresponding to the candle names/scents. Scents include...

Citrus & Sandalwood - Sparkling Lemon, Creamy Sandalwood, Mandarin Zest (I assume this Citron Cedarwood aka Sandalwood Citrus but it could also be Autumn Sunshine)

Wildflower Meadow - Sunlit Daisies, Wild Poppy, Sweet Green Grass (the old Lakeside collection had a failed scent called Wildflower Valley..I wonder if this is it)

Toasted Smores - Dark Chocolate, Fluffy Marshmallow, Graham Cracker (total repackage of failed test scent Bonfire Smores)

Returning scents is Campfire Donut and Flannel (wtf?)

There's also 2 candles with the same camping theme but with a different (Native American pattern?) packaging called In-Tents Coffee..it's Paris Cafe as well as Watermelon Lemonade. There's also talk of another candle called..wait for it... "May The Forest Be With You".... really BBW?! You already know it's gonna be Fresh Ballsack..I mean Balsam; as every SA on social media loves to remind me, FB is their top selling scent. Anyhoo, I'd be highly surprised if it isn't FB


The final collection that's currently testing has summer at the shore/strolling down the boardwalk theme. And for all of you gourmand lovers out there, get stoked cuz it seems to be mostly summer treats scents; think summery version of Sweet Shop. Scents include...

Orange Cream Soda - Bright Tangerine, Effervescent Zest, Creamy Iced Vanilla (so word on the street is this is NOT Orange Creamsicle from last year or Sunny Coconut from the year before. This is why you have take what you see/hear/read on social media with a grain of salt until someone with a better scent memory or some who can do a proper scent comparison comes along. It has been confirmed that this is indeed a repackage of Orange Creamsicle; the two even have the exact same notes 

Cherry Snow Cone - Sweet Cherry Syrup, Vanilla Shaved Ice, Hint of Lime - (you would think this would be Spiked Cherry Limesicle or it's twin Cherry Blossom Sangria  but it's not)

Waffle Cone - Sweet Summer Berries, Golden Waffle Cone, Creamy Vanilla (it's confirmed...welcome back the grand return of the ever so overhyped Berry Waffle Cone)

Pool Party - Cool Blue Waters, Coconut Suntan Lotion, Sun-softened Musk (it's said to be very similar to Suntan. I wonder if it's St Tropez Shores from last summer)

Returning scent is Endless Weekend (why is BBW is damned obsessed with this scent?!)and Watermelon Lemonade (because of course *eyeroll)
