As 2014 draws to a close, I thought it would be nice to sit  back and reminisce on the scents that came our way throughout the year from the spring to this winter. So if y'all will indulge a bitch, I'd like list my favorites of 2014!

Fleur de Provence
This was really the only scent in the Destination collection that spring that I liked. It was the perfect union of my two all time favorite scents - verbena and lavender. While on cold throw it did smell a little like Fruity Pebbles, the warm throw was total relaxing aromatherapy goodness

Lavender Marshmallow
The rare and mysterious failed test scent that had everybody's coochies exploding. Not too too sweet and not too too herbal, just a perfect blend

French Lavender
Everybody knows that my love for lavender scents runs deep. While there have been several lavender blends there hasn't been a straightup lavender (well technically there as in '12 but it didn't go wide. Anyway, FL came along and all was right with the world. It got a lot of hate from the anti-lavenders but us lavender lovers rejoiced. French Lavender, je'taime toujours!

Pomelo Grapefruit
This was a nice sweet juicy semi-tart citrus-y fruit scent, a nice change from all of the super sweet (or tropical) fruits scents that we get assaulted with during the spring. This was nice to burn on a spring/summer weekend morning

Lemon Cucumber
While I adored this scent, many did not hence why it didn't go wide. It just didn't have the sappy fruity sugary sweet diabetes inducing goodness that has BBW'ers losing their proverbial shit. It was fresh, it was refreshing, it was zesty, it was tart - a perfect scent to burn on a hot spring/summer afternoon

Island Waters
As you all know, I love me some fresh watery/oceany scents and I gotta say this is probably the best one of the all..despite it being a repacakage (Sunrise Lagoon from '11) It was watery with being salty or *eyeroll "cologne-y", sweet without smelling like candy and a tiny dash of floral without smelling a flowershop or old lady. It was just a perfect tropical watery scent for summer.

Black Sands
This was a strange one, people either really liked or hated, no in between. I loved it and my bf really loved it. Though there's no denying that it was kinduva strange blend - think Black Tie mixed with Euclyptus Mint and Rain.

Garden Party
I've said it before and I'll say it again, I'm not a fan of floral scents..but I LOVED this one. Usually my go to scent for spring is, well, Spring but Spring can be (and was last year) super-duper strong. I do believe Garden Party may be replacing Spring as jam for springtime. It's a nice floral scent that won't attack your sinuses with (like Spring) a dash of juicy dewy green apple/pear. It's a very elegant scent to have for the season, it totally makes you feel like you're attending a garden party.

Beach Day
Y'all know I LOOOOVE me some "cologne-y" scents and this one is no exception. It's a nice crisp refreshing aqua type cologne scent, think something along the lines of Acqua di Gio or Cool waters...actually after smelling way too many colognes at Macy's, it deduced that it actually smelled like Lacostes. Anyhoo, this was nice fresh clean scent for the bathroom in the summer and honestly (besides Coastal Sun and Turquoise Waters) the only one in the Coastal Cool collection I liked.

Nectarine Green Tea
Finally, green tea scent and no one was more overjoyed than I. Now there were some who were a little leery of the green tea note but once they smelled, they changed their tune. It was such a soothing, relaxing and tranquil scent, just made me wanna start meditating or get a massage.

Peach Cilantro Twist
My second favorite scent in the Summer Sip collection. It was just perfection - sweet, a little tart, juicy, refreshing, vibrant! I could not and can not hype this scent enough. I'm not the biggest fan of peach scents but the addition of mango and especially cilantro made me fall head over heels in love with scent

Spiced Pumpkin Cider
I took the plunge going out of my comfort zone and tried pumpkin scents this past fall. All of them greatly disappointed except this bad boy. If it were not for the addition of apple cider and mandarin, I would've not even have bothered giving this scent any attention. This was the perfect fall scent and do hope that it keeps returning.

Autumn Nights
I am sticking to my guns here despite all of the naysaying, this was Autumn Day..period. No one can/will tell me otherwise. It was an updated version, more intense, more woodsy and more smoky. It totally made me think of being in front of the campfire in the woods on a cool...autumn night. Even though the burn was craptastic, I still enjoyed AN a lot and it has official become my bedroom scent of choice for fall..watch out Black Pepper Bergamot, you have a rival!

Ski Lodge
One of the few truly new scents this winter and I am in love. It's so complex which I love - woodsy without smelling like cologne (eyeroll), sweet without smelling candy/bakery-ish, smoky without smelling like a dirty chimney/fireplace. It's so elegant and sophisticated, especially compared to the other winter scents this year. It makes you feel like your sitting a classy hoity-toity winter ski resort.

Fresh Sparkling Snow
I've been paraying to the BBW goods to finally make a candle version of my favorite winter soap and pocketbac and they answered my prayers. I'll admit on my initial first sniff, I was a little disappointed - it was so fruity and melon-y, it came across too much as a summer scent. But it has grown on me and I'm grateful that it exists.

Pumpkin Gingerbread
Despite my intense hatred of pumpkin and bakery scents, I decided to give this SOB a try and I found myself really liking it. It was the perfect blend of Pumpkin (I still wanna know what pumpkin has to do with Christmas) and gingerbread. So much better than the original Frosted Gingerbread of the past. Sweet, warm, inviting and spicy without being intensely red-hot a la Cinnamon and Clove Buds/Cinnamon Frosting. It was a welcoming addition to the collection and made me appreciate bakery scents.

Be Daring
This was the ONLY scent in the entire Perfect Wish collection that I liked. Its very *eyeroll..."cologney". Its heavy, rich and sensual - woodsy yet vibrant with a hint of fruit and spice. Think Villa Bergamot mixed with Flannel (without that sap note) with a hint of Autumn Night. In my opinion, its a standout - not cutesy girly fruity candy bakery cupcakey bs, but rather a nice, thoughout sophisticated high end blend which is rare at BBW nowadays

So yeah those are my favorite new scents of 2014. I'm looking forward (and is a little leery) of what 2015 brings up scent-wise.

That said, y'all have a very happy and safe New Years!!!!!

WALK 'N' SNIFF: Perfect Wish

I wrote this post on the same night of the $8 candle sale but just forgot to post it

So I stepped in my fav store in NYC so not expecting to this collection but lo and behold there they were in all of their glittery glory. And when I tell y'all, folks (mainly girls) were goin on absolutely apeshit over these SOBs. I on the other hand was nonplussed; I've been by and large indifferent about them cuz none of them intrigued me scent-wise and it takes more than glitter to grab my attention...sometimes. Anyhoo, despite my indifference, I decided to give them all a sniff...

Live in Sunshine ~ Fresh Blossom - As I soon as I first saw the notes and the wax color, I knew exactly what it was going to be a repackage of. As soon as I sniffed it, I totally called it .... it's First Bloom. It's a very heady sweet almost body spray-like floral scent.

Sparkle Everyday ~ Confetti Cupcake - Yep, you guessed it...it's Frosted Cupcake! Actually it's more like Frosted Cupcake x10; it's soooo sickening diabetes inducingly sweet. The buttercream notes is killer; you get a noseful of straightup frosting. I'm sure this one is gonna have all y'all bakery sweetie lovers' coochies exploding.

Go with the Flow ~ Bergamot Waters -  It's similar to Turquoise Waters from the Coastal Cool collection - aka Sea Spray with a twist from '11. It's a watery/aqua ( cucumber/melon) scent with slight dewy floral kick  and citrus in the background.

Light up the Room ~ Green Apple Champagne - this seems to be the star of this collection; people have raving about this candle on Facebook. I liked it (cuz I do love apple scents) but honestly I wasn't impressed. It's basically Wasabi Apple from the fall without the wasabi. Its a green Jolly Rancher/ Sour Apple Pucker with an fizzy effervescence similar to Cranberry Pear Bellini.

Dance Til Dawn ~ Tropical Tango - this is another one that everyone has been losing their proverbial shit over. I wasn't a fan. If you liked Coconut Mango Cooler from the Summer Sips, then this will be right be right up your alley. It's essentially the bastard lovechild of Coconut Mango Cooler and Champagne Toast.

Wine Down ~ Pomegranate Sangria - I had high hopes for this one as I love pomegranate but, not to my surprise, it's a repackage. Now a lot of people keep saying that it's Sundrenched Vineyard which was a repackage of Cranberry Woods....I personally don't think so. Unfortunately most of you didn't get to sniff this as it didn't go wide but it's basically Pomegranate Spritzer from Summer Sips. It's a sweet dark pomegranate scent with dark fruits (ie guava), a little lemon and a nose tickling effervescence

Be Daring ~ Spiced Saffron Redwood - ironic yet far from surprising - this is the ONLY candle from this collection I actually liked (and the only one I bought) and it's the only one E'RYBODY has been hatin' on for the same reason - it's "cologney". The hate on cologne scents drives me berserk! Anyway, yes this is...cologney. Yet its surprisingly sweet for a woodsy cologney scent. I smell something a bit fruity through I can't say it's cranberries as suggested in the notes. While I dont think this is a repackage (*faints), it does smell familiar. It's kinda like Villa Bergamot mixed with Flannel.

Dream Big ~ Lavender Clouds - E'RYBODY (myself including me) was praying their asses off that it would be a repackage of the rare and elusive failed test scent Lavender Marshmallow. Unfortunately it isnt (though it should've been). It was the only scent not in the store so I can't give you a proper sniff review. And I've reading conflicting reviews - some say it smells like a generic lavender detergent/fabric softner while other say it smells like Nighttime Tea and they get a " tea" note. *shrugs I dunno, I got nuthin...

All in all, this collection really pisses me off. For the most part, they're almost all repackages, blatant repackages. With the exception of Be Daring, this whole collection is just really unispired and boring and mainstream and safe. People are getting all seduced and beguiled by all the glitz and glitter and the sweetie lovers are creamin their panties that there are so many sweet and fruit scents and most dont seem to be even slightly perturbed by the blatant repackages but I'm not easily bamboozled. I like scents that are well thought out and complex and different. BBW is losing more and more of their edge and are afraid to be inventive lest they lose their new customers who don't know any better and the sweetie lovers who are happy with anything sweet/bakery/fruity. It takes more than glitter and repackaged sweet scents to get more on board. As a long time fan from the good ol Slatkin days, this collection is straight up insulting!

SHOP 'N' GO: $8 Candle Day Haul

So there I am at work, counting down the hours til it was time to go so I could get my shop on finally. And of course, the day went by so agonizingly slow. Finally it was that time and I ran like The Flash out the door, hopped on the subway and ran some more to the store. I got there and the joint was mob deep, packed like crazy! I didn't let this deter; I knew exactly what candles I wanted and found them all with ease. But oy vey, the lines were excruciatingly long. Luckily there were roaming SAs with awesome handy handheld portable debit/credit card machines. I did two transactions with two $10 off $30 coupons and as soon as the super sweet and patient (and pretty) SA girl finished my transactions, I ran out the door before it got anymore crowded.

So ladies and gents, this is what I bought....

  • 2 Ski Lodges
  • 1 Champagne Toast
  • 1 Winter
  • 2 Merry Mistletoes
  • 1 Gourmet Espresso
  • 1 Be Daring

Then later that same evening, my boyfriend came home with a nice candle haul. He bought...

  • 1 Fresh Balsam
  • 1 Tis the Season
  • 1 Sparkling Icicles
  • 1 Spiced Apple Toddy
  • 1 Fresh Sparkling Snow
  • 1 Wine Down
  • 1 Tropical Tango
  • 1 Be Daring
16 candles total. All in all, I think we both did pretty damn good. We both got all of the candles we wanted (well my bf wanted a Evergreen and a Gourmet Espresso but the store he went to didn't have them) and all in all we're both equally satisfied with our purchases!

Now enjoy my Winter Haul/$8 sale Youtube vid

CANDLE SPOTLIGHT: Pumpkin Gingerbread

Products: candle
Area used in:  living room (weekends)
Time Period: Thanksgiving - New Year's Eve

Description: A Christmas classic gets a touch of fresh creamy pumpkin added to a  scrumptious mixture of just baked gingerbread and golden vanilla

So long story short, I wanted a nice "weekend morning" scent that would take me from Thanksgiving and straight through Christmas and this was the only scent that I could think of from this collection (truth be told, the other scents in this collection didn't appeal to me at all). I decided to get over me intense vehement dislike of both pumpkin scents and bakery scents, get out of my proverbial comfort zone and try this sucker. I gotta say, I'm kinda glad that I did cuz I found myself liking it.

So far it's been performing like a boss - high dancing flames, plump mushroom tops, deep wax pool. So far so good! Now a lot of people have complained that the throw is super light to the point of being nonexistent... not mine! My PGB filled up my entire living room and the scent lingered for hours. There were a couple of times that I had to blow it out cuz it was little too strong...I RARELY ever have to do that!

Now  let's talk about the scent. Most of you longtime Slatkin fans know that there was a scent called Gingerbread back in '11 and it came back as Frosted Gingerbread in '12 and again as a failed test scent in '13. That one was kinda weird. The bakery note on cold throw kinda smelled like corn chips and there was as sharpness in the "spice" notes that reminded me of curry powder. PGB is sooo much better!!! It's like an updated remedied version of FG. And you do get the "pumpkin" aspect, more like spiced pumpkin puree; it's very nutmeg-y and gingery. And speaking of nutmeg, a lot of people said that this reminded them of this fall's Heirloom Pumpkin which was very nutmeg heavy; some have even gone so far as to say that it's a straight up repackage of HP. I  can see why people would say that but I kinda have to disagree. To me, it's too bakery and gingery to be a repackage of HP. Personally, I think this smells more like a mix of the bakery note of FG and the "pumpkin spice" of Pumpkin Cupcake.

So yeah, that's really all I have to say about this scent. I think it's a nice "new" addition to the holiday roundup (though I don't really know what pumpkin has to do with holidays, but whatevs). As I said before, I wound up really like this despite normally hating both pumpkin and bakery scents so that says a lot. I definitely think that it's worth checking out.

WALK 'N' SNIFF: Winter 2014 Candles Part Deux

Let's talk about the Holiday tradition and Martinis and Mistletoe candles shall we....

First of all, how friggin cute are these Holiday Traditions candles, with the little animals?! Anyhoo, I won't talk about Twisted Peppermint, Winter Candle Apple, Evergreen and Vanilla Bean Noel cuz E'RYBODY should know what those all smell like.

This SOB came out back 2012, replacing Slatkin's go to holiday spice candle Spice and has been a Christmastime staple ever since...I dunno why cuz it ain't all that! If you like red hot spicy cinnamon scents like Cinnamon & Clove, then you'll probably like Holiday - they both smell very similar. Holiday also has bergamot in it which you think would give it a very aromatic citrusy kick but nope not so much. It makes the blend for some reason smell very ancient and dusty/musty smelling, like an old person's home. Holiday makes me think of old dusty/musty cardboard boxes of Xmas decorations in your grandparents' attic.

Cinnamon Caramel Swirl
This come out last winter and B&BW has been pushin this hard ever since and I don't know why. It was "Pumpkin" Caramel Swirl this fall and now it's back as a winter scent. It smells like cinnamon and caramel, that's it. It's not good, it's not bad, just ehhh

Fresh Sparkling Snow
FSS is my all time FAVORITE winter soap and I have to have it every year. I've been sayin for the longest that there should be a coexisting candle to go with it; hell, if Twisted Peppermint, Winter Candy Apple and Vanilla Bean Noel can be a soap, why not FSS?! So when I heard that B&BW finally answered my prayers and there was actually a candle, I creamed my proverbial panties! It smellslike the soap for tbe most part, albeit a little sweeter. The "icy melon" note is more pronounced; I never noticed that there was melon in the soap and pocketbac, but you can't miss it in the candle. As much as I like this, I can't say that it strikes me as a "winter" scent. That melon-y action just makes me think of summer. It's very reminiscent of B&BW summery/melony/oceany scents - think Oceanside, Sunrise Lagoon (Island Waters), Seashore (Renew&Refresh) and Seaspray (Turquoise Waters)

And now onto the fabulous looking Martini and Mistletoe collection. Last year, this New Year's themed collection had a very 1920's/Art Deco/Great Gatsby vibe, however this time around it has a very 1950's/Rat Pack/Lawrence Welk vibe. I think Im diggin the collection the most. I'm not gonna bother talkin about Tis the Season, Peach Bellini or Cranberry Pear Bellini.

Holly Jolly Christmas
I've already talked about that mess, not gonna waste my time and yours talking about it again.

HJC will apparently a one day (Black Friday?) special candle like last year's Buttercream Mint

Champagne Toast
CT made it's debut last winter and was a runaway hit. I loved it and I wrote a review about it. I'm beyond glad that it's back in action this year. CT smells like a Mimosa or a very fizzy orange soda. I already did a review last year, so go check that. If you liked Sparkling Berry Fizz from the Summer sips collection, it was basically a repackage of CT.

Black Tie
Again, I did a review about this last year so I won't go into a great depth about it. It smells like a sexy men's cologne.

Sparkling Confetti
I don't care what anyone says, I don't care what the notes for this says, I've gotten into arguments about this one and I'm stickin to my guns and will go down swingin....This is Party Dress from last winter. Yes, the notes are different, who f***ing CARES!!! I've sad this before I'll say it again, don't take the notes on candles seriously! SCis a little sweeter, not as intensely floral as PD, but the initially smell EXACTLY alike. Like BT smells like cologne, SC, like PD, smells like perfume.

Merry Mistletoe
MM was a Christmastime staple in 2011 and 2012. Last winter it tested as "Winter Wreath" but didn't go wide. Finally it's back in action and I for one could not be happier. Like many of the old school Slatkin era scents, this is a little complex and hard to describe. You definitely get an apparent pear note, a tiny hint of cranberry and there's a double whammy of spruce and rosemary that gives this a refreshing astringent pine-y action. To describe this on a very simplistic basic level, you can kinda say this smells CPB without the fizz with Fresh Balsam without the eucalyptus...kinda. The combo, to me at least, just makes me think of Christmastime. Now I don't wanna say that this smells "cologne-y", I've heard other reviewers refer to it as that in the past; I will say there's something "masculine" about this scent. This won't be everyone's cup of tea, especially yall sweetie lovers out there. But for your hardcore Slatkin fans or those who you who like fresh/clean/herbal/woodsy/cologne scents, this bud's for you!

White Winter Petals
This one kinda slipped under the radar and had everyone thrown for loop. I knew it was going to be a fancy soap but didn't know it would b a corresponding candle/wf bulb. And it didn't test, it just went straight to store. I admit, the name turned me off initially; I'm not a fan of floral scents and I thought it inappropriate for winter and just seemed out of place in this collection. But then I smelled it and I gotta say I was digging it. Thankfully despite what the name suggests, it's not nearly as intensely floral as you might think it would be, on the contrary it's quite subtle. It has a white powdery dewy aspect to it - think lily or jasmine or lilac or peony. And there's definite "holiday greenery" note that's hangin out in the background, like a sweet spruce. It's like a toned down eucalyptus-less Fresh Balsam with added floral, think Lilac Blossom. And it has cooling outdoorsiness like Sweater Weather. WWT  is a little strange but I think folks, like me, will gind themselves liking it by surprise. I do wish B&BW could've come up with a better name - White Poinsettia, Winter Snow, Snowflake Blossom, Winter Tinsel, anything other that Winter White Petals

WALK 'N' SNIFF: Winter 2014 Candles Part One

Hey e'rybody! Let me first off apologize for bein MIA lately. I've had a lot goin lately, including a new job, so I don't have nearly as much free time as I used to. Furthermore, up until today, I hadn't had much to talk about B&BW-wise; I had nothing to review that I hadn't reviewed already and I haven't been inside a B&BW store until a few days ago. After work, I visited my favorite store in the city and it had all of the winter scents so I decided to get my sniff and mentally note which scents I was going to eventually get.

Because there are so many scents to talk about, I decided that instead of making one long ass post that Id split it into two parts. Part one will be the Ski Lodge/Snow and Slopes and Home Traditions candles and Part two will be the Holiday Traditions and Martini and Mistletoe collections. So let's begin...

So everybody should know what Fresh Balsam, Winter, Tis the Season, Vanilla Snowflake, Marshmallow Fireside and Mahogany Teakwood smells like so I'm not gonna talk about em. So I'll just talk about the less popular as well as new scents.

Sparkling Icicles
I've already done a review about this so I won't go into great depth about it. It basically smells like a fresh, cool, "aqua" men's cologne - more to the point it smells EXACTLY like Acqua di Gio.

Hot Buttered Rum
This has been around for awhile. I'm personally not a big fan of it; it's too sweet for me. If you like ooey gooey sugar high inducing caramel-y type scents like Pumpkin Caramel Latte, Summer Boardwalk, Salted Caramel, etc, you'll like this. In fact, if you ever smelled this year's Bourbon Butterscotch, that smells almost exactly like HBR. It's warm, ooey gooey, caramel-y scent with a hint a strong sweet dark alcohol

Spiced Apple Toddy
Another winter classic that's been around for awhile. There's not much to say about - it smells like a watered down Leaves. Take out the nectar and mandarin and berries, leave the apple/cider/cinnamon and add a dash of brown liquor and that's SAT.

Ski Lodge
This in my opinion is the star of this collection. When I first heard about this, I didn't know what to think; I thought I would be a repackage of Vanilla Cedarwood or Vanilla Firewood or that good awful Good Natured Christmas. But (unless someone can prove me wrong), I think this may a new scent...PRAISE THE LORD!!! It's hard to describe. It's woodsy without smelling "cologne-y", it's sweet without smelling candy-sh, it's smoky without smelling like an old chimney. A reviewer on the website described it perfectly -  "If Fireside and Espresso Bar Had a Baby..." It's got the woody/smoky action like Fireside without leather note and the intensity with the sweet vanilla/cocoa action of Espresso Bar. It feels like you're inside a ski resort/cabin in front of the fire sipping cocoa. It's warm, it's cozy, it's inviting - I REALLY like this one a lot!

*Snow and Slopes, despite it being the name of this collection, did not make the cut

And now onto the Home Traditions candles. I won't talk about the stuff everyone (should) know - Cinnamon & Clove Buds (Red Hot/Hot Tamale candies), Cinnamon Frosting (Frosted Cupcake mixed with Cinnamon&Clove Buds) and Merry Cookie (vanilla scented wax).

Gourmet Espresso
Let's not beat around the bush, it's Espresso Bar plain and simple....next!

Pumpkin Gingerbread
Why PUMPKIN?! Isn't this supposed to be a "WINTER" scent?! Anyhoo, this one...it's new but not new if that make sense. It's smells...familiar. For you ol school BBW'ers out there, it's very similar to Frosted Gingerbread. I never liked that one; to me it always smelled like corn chips. And there's a sharp intense spice note that made it smell a little like curry. Luckily PG doesn't have that sharp curry action; I think this smells more like actual gingerbread that FG did. Also there is a "pumpkin" note; an earthiness with cinnamon/nutmeg/ginger "pumpkin pie" spice; kinda smells like Pumpkin Cupcake. So yeah, PG is basically Frosted Gingerbread mixed with Pumpkin Cupcake.

Butterscotch Toffee
Ehh, there's not much to say about this one.Again, it's new but not new...familiar smelling. Just your standard  B&BW-ian take on caramel/toffee/butterscotch scents. If you liked Bourbon Butterscotch, Salted Caramel, Sea Salt & Maple Popcorn, Hot Buttered Rum, then you'll like this.

Mint Mocha Bark
This seems to be the run away hit of this collection; ER'YBODY and their grandma has been ravin about it. Most reviewers have said the same thing about it and I have to agree - this smells like a mix of Mint Chocolate and last year's Buttercream Mint. The chocolate note is there but hidden in the background. You mainly get a cool but not overpowering "Twisted Peppermint-iness" with a milky somewhat buttery creaminess. Yeah, Mint Chocolate and Buttercream Mint's love child. Personally I think Mint Chocolate (especially last year's version) smells better but that's just my humble opinion.

*Snickerdoodle and Holiday Apple Crisp did not make the cut, although HAC is available as a wf bulb online

Stay tuned for Part Deux......

RANDOM POST: Fall 2014 Candle Inspired Cocktails

This is for my fellow cocktail enthusiasts...aka lushes. Light up your favorite new fall candle and make yourself a cocktail inspired by it!

BTW DISCALIMER: I don't use measurements so do like I do and use your better judgment!

Wasabi Apple (Tom Collins)
Smirnoff Green Apple Vodka
DeKuyper Sour Apple Pucker
Domaine de Canton ginger liqueur

Place some ice in your cocktail shaker. Pour in your Smirnoff. Add a dash of Sour Apple and an even smaller dash of DdC. Shake it up and pour in ice filled glass. Top off with club soda.

Blackberry Bramble Tea (Tom Collins/Tumbler)
Black tea (preferable Darjeeling tea)
Blackberry Elderflower Pimm's
Vodka (or gin)

Brew yourself some black tea (or if you're adventurous, you could make yourself tea infused syrup). Add sugar and let your tea cool off. Pour in your favorite unflavored vodka (I personally think this is better with gin, something dry and London-ish)in an ice filled glass. Then pour in your Pimms (it HAS to be the blackberry and elderflower one). Then pour in your sweetened tea and stir.

Vanilla Chai (Highball/on the rocks)
Tazo Chai Latte concetrate
Capt. Morgan Spiced Rum

Pour your Capt. Morgan over ice (preferably crushed), then pour in your chai concentrate (you could also brew your own chai and use soy milk and honey). Add a teaspoon of vanilla and stir. This could also be served hot as a toddy

Banana Nutmeg Bread Pudding (martini)
Malibu banana rum
Banana liqueur (preferably Leroux or DeKuyper)

Pour in Malibu, Rumchata and banana liqueur in cocktail shaker. Shake and then pour contents into martini glass. Sprinkle a tiny bit of nutmeg on top for taste and decoration. You could also add nutmeg to contents before shaking but use strainer when pouring.

Bourbon Butterscotch (shot)
Butterscotch Schnapps

Pour in 1\2 of your favorite Bourbon (I say go with Makers) and 1\2 9f Schapps. Stir then chug.

Sea Salt and Maple Popcorn (shot)
Crown Royal Maple
Sea salt
Brown sugar

Mix brown sugar and salt to lick. Pour CR into shot glass. Lick brown sugar salt off hand then chug the shot.

Cayenne Caramel (martini)
Absolut Peppar
Pinnacle Caramel Apple
Bailey Crème Caramel
Caramel sauce
Cayenne pepper

Pour in the AP and Pinnacle into cocktail shaker with ice. Pour in the Bailey last. Shake. Drizzle the caramel sauce in the martini glass in a spiral from the rim. Pour contents from shaker into the glass. You can either put an actual cayenne pepper in the drink or on the rim or add one tiny dash of cayenne pepper on top

Pumpkin Cinnamon Bun (shot)
Pinnacle Cinnabon
Pinnacle Pumpkin Pie

Pour in PC and PPP in cocktail shaker. Add a dash of cinnamon. Shake and strain contents into shot glass.

This could also be served as a martini. Add if you're daring, line the rim with cinnamon bun frosting.

Vanilla Pumpkin Marshmallow (martini)
Pinnacle Marshmallow
Pinnacle Pumpkin Pie

Pour in PM, PPP and Rumchata in cocktail shaker with ice. Shake and pour contents into martini glass.

Pumpkin Caramel Swirl (martini)
Bailey Crème Caramel
Smirnoff Caramel Vodka
Caramel sauce

Pour in Smirnoff and then Bailey into cocktail shaker with ice. Shake. Drizzle caramel sauce in a spiral from the rim inside the glass. Pour contents of shaker into the glass. Add one dash of cinnmon on top.

Spiced Pumpkin Cider
well here's two recipes, one is a toddy recipe and the other is an actual cocktail

toddy: prepare an actual mulled cider, you know boil apple cider with cinnamon sticks, anise, nutmeg, clove etc in a pot. Stir in your brown liquor of choice - I personally prefer brandy in my toddies and it goes well with cider but you can use dark rum, whiskey or applejack. Add orange slices. Pour into your favorite mug

cocktail: apple cider
               Pinnacle Pumpkin Pie Vodka
orange liqueur "(preferably Cointreau but you can use Triple Sec)
               cinnamon and clove

Pour in a healthy but of cider into an ice filled shaker. Pour in your PPP. Add one splash of Cointreau and an even smaller splash of brandy. Add a dash of cinnamon and a dash of clove (just a dash, clove is strong stuff) Shake it up and pour into a highball or martini glass

Pumpkin Sugared Doughnuts (martini)
Pinnacle Pumpkin Pie Vodka
Pinnacle Cake Vodka
Pumpkin pie spice
Cinnamon sugar

Wet the rim of your martini glass and roll around in cinnamon sugar on paper towel. Pour in PPP and PC into cocktail shaker with ice. Add about tow or three dashes of pumpkin pie spice. Shake and strain contents into martini glass

This could also be served as a shot and you lick cinnamon sugar off your hand

Pecan Pumpkin Waffles (shot)
Crown Royale Maple

Add 1\2 of CRM and 1\2 Frangelico. Stir and chug.

Pumpkin Cupcake (martini)
Pinnacle Pumpkin Pie Vodka
Pinnacle Whipped Cream Vodka
Domaine de Canton Ginger liqueur
Whipped cream
Pumpkin Pie Spice

Pour PPP and PWC to cocktail shaker. Then add one dash of DdC. Then add about two dashes of pumpkin pie spice. Shake and then strain contents into martini glass. Add a dollop of whipped cream and top that with pumpkin pie spice

Pumpkin Caramel Latte (highball/on the rocks)
Bailey Crème Caramel
Tazo Chai Latte concentrate

Pour Rumchata into glass over rocks. Then add Bailey then top off with chai concentrate. Stir and stir.

This could also be served hot.

THIS IS THE BOMB.COM: Spiced Pumpkin Cider

Products: candle
Area used in:  living room
Time Period: off and on from October -

Description: A warming blend of orchard fresh pumpkin-apple cider, ground nutmeg and a hint of clementine orange

So as I've stated before, I'm not the biggest fan of pumpkin scents. With my run of bad luck with Pumpkin Cinnamon Bun and especially Pumpkin Sugared Manfeet...I mean Doughnuts, I was ready to completely ignore this entire collection. But I found myself really intrigued with Spiced Pumpkin Cider. Surely the apple cider and clementine notes would cancel out the evil pumpkin funk. So I gave it a sniff and found myself really liking it. Now in my recent favorite fall scents post, I said that I love apple scents for fall and my go-to apple/cider scent was Spiced Cider. And as you know for the first in years, Spiced Cider wasn't in this fall's lineup. I gotta say that I don't miss it cuz SPC is soooo much better!

Performance-wise, it's been pretty bad-ass. Super ridonkulously high flames, super plump mushroom times, full deep wax pool in gorgeous bright crimson/scaRlet color and it threw like a mutha-effin BOSS; I could smell it around my entire apartment.

And now the scent. Again, this smells so much better than regular old Spiced Cider, definitely more of legit cider scent. And you would think because it's a "pumpkin-apple" scent that it would smell like...well, Pumpkin Apple. But it totally doesn't, SPC is its own separate entity. You get this really warm, pleasant sweet (but not cloying) mulled cider note, heavy on the nutmeg with a tiny hint of clove. Underneath that, you get a slight earthy pumpkin note. And lastly there's a burst bright orange (zest/oil) that really brightens and perks the blend up. It really does smell like legit mulled apple-pumpkin cider with slices of orange.

Now there are those that argue that SPC smells like a repackage with a twist of last year's fail "Cider Donuts". When Touchthefiretwice said in his review, I was like "uuummm, what?!" Then I took a good whiff of SPC...and I totally got it, I could see why people would say that. Much like Blueberry Pumpkin Patch, the "pumpkin" comes across very bakery making it smell more like a muffin or oatmeal. Same thing with SPC, the pumpkin notes is sweet but still earthy and it can come across a little bakery. However I don't think SPC is a repackage with a twist at all, if anything I think it's a repackage with a twist of Spiced Cider with added goodness.

Before I bought the candle, I picked up a few wf bulbs..those suckers smell amazing! I haven't plugged them in but I have a feeling that they're gonna be just as strong as the candle.

In my personal opinion, SPC is the star of the Pumpkin Café collection. You can keep your Pumpkin Sugared Doughnuts and Pumpkin Pecan Waffles and Pumpkin Caramel Lattes, I'm all about SPC! It's a perfect fall scent cuz it has everything you need - apple/cider, autumn spices, pumpkin, a little orange, who can ask for anything more?! I really do hope this sticks around and that it takes the place of Spiced Cider. Pumpkin Apple can take a hike too. SPC is winner, ya did good B&BBW, ya did good!

Products: candle and wallflower bulbs
Area used in:  bedroom
Time Period: mid-September- end of October & November-December

Description: Nutmeg and cinnamon stick are layered over a rich base of applewood and cedar to evoke the perfect autumn night

So I was lookin for a new sexy manly fall scent for my bedroom, something other than my baby Black Pepper Bergamot. I was initially excited that Tailgate was coming back and had actually made it past test phase but found out to my dismay that it was the same Tailgate from last year (repackage of Mad about Madrid). Anyhoo, Autumn Night sounded right up my alley so I thought I'd give it a try and I wound up really loving it, my bf too! I was hyping it up and defending it against haters on Facebook - it was/is my jam and became an instant fall fav/must have for me!

So why did I give it my patented "THIS IS BOMB.COM" title? Mainly because the performance. The performance kinda sucked!

As you can see there's some canyoning action with a big cliff of was pre and post burn. It initially tunneled and took forever to pool out. Eventually after quite a few burns, it corrected itself - it had thick mushroom tops, high flames and finally a completely full pool. Then there was throw issue - it could've been a just wee bit stronger. This is definitely a small room scent otherwise the scent would be nonexistent.

Now let's talk about the scent! I don't care what anyone says, I'm stickin to my guns and goin down swingin on this one. This is a straightup repackage with a twist of Autumn Day from '12/'13. I heard some other reviewers saying this before I sniffed/bought/burned it but I refused to believe it cuz I fell for the notes. But sure enough those reviewers were right! Now I was never a fan of Autumn Day for some reason, it always rubbed my nose the wrong way though I said I was gonna force myself to try it this year if it came back...and here it is! Now notice that earlier I called it a "repackage with a twist" because it is slightly different. It's balanced, more smoky almost incense-like with an added spice, cardamom to be exact (not cinnamon and nutmeg as said in the notes) but the base notes smell exactly like Autumn Day.

Now as y'all may or may not know Autumn Day is itself a repackage of a Slatkin-era scent from '11 called Acorn and Fig. Completely disregard the notes for Autumn Day (oak, citrus and golden amber) cuz that's classic B&BW bullshit! The notes for Acorn and Fig are more true to form - "A medley of fresh apricot, juicy pear and fig blended with fresh cut Birchwood and creamy sandalwood" Those are EXACTLY what I smell in Autumn Night. There's a sweet creamy fig note with a fresh off the tree unsliced pear (apricot not so much) with an creamy woody incense-y sandalwood and a heavy birch note with added spicy cardamom. And, like Autumn Day/Acorn and Fig, there's an unexplainable cooling almost mint-like action you get (maybe from the birchwood). Overall, I like the changes - the added notes round out and balance this scent  and I much prefer this rich blue color to the old green color. Also Autumn Day never struck me as a "daytime" so I'm glad the changed it to "night" cuz it totally reminds me of nighttime - bein out with friends in the woods on a cool "autumn night" chugging hard cider and roasting sweet potatoes or marshmallows in front of a fire.

Now here comes the rant. I've talked about this before about B&BW bullshitting people with notes. How in the hell does apricot/pear/fig/birch/sandalwood become citrus/amber/oak and how does that become nutmeg/cinnamon/applewood/cedar?! Nobody out there can tell me that they actually can smell those last 4 notes?! Furthermore Autumn Night seems to be following in the direction of Paris Daydream/Sparkling Icicles and Villa Bergamot as a scent that refuses to die. So far it has been repackaged TWICE - once as Cardamom and Suede from Intrigue and Opulence (funny that I smelled cardamom in Autumn Night and now that's what is being called) and again as Holly Jolly Christmas which makes absolutely NO SENSE! And I have a funny feeling that the Be Daring from the testing Light up the Room is gonna wind up bein a AN repackage too. Don't get me wrong, I really like this scent but not enough for it to be repackaged. Furthermore I would only want this scent in fall, cuz it's a fall scent!

It's a nice enough scent; for me it's a perfect late autumn bedroom scent. As much I like it, it just pisses me off that is being repackaged and that it smells totally different that what the description says.

THIS IS THE BOMB.COM: Leaves (We Love Fall 2014 vers.)

Products: candle
Area used in:  living room and wallflowers
Time Period: mid-September - end of October

Description: Jump into a pile of leaves! Celebrate the brilliant colors if autumn with this rich blend of golden nectar, red apple and spiced berries

As most of y'all already know, Leaves is by far my all time FAVORITE scent for fall - a definite must have, fall in a jar, one of many things to look forward to in this season!

I'm not gonna go into too much detail about the scent cuz EVERYBODY should know what Leaves smells like. Plus I already did an in-depth review on this scent last year. So I'm just gonna talk about the performance.

It performed like dream, as usual - thick mushroom tops, high flames, deep pool, nice throw, yada yada yada. My only complaint as that this candle, more than any candle I've gotten and burned recently, burned down ridiculously quick. Now I know B&BW has shortened the burn time for whatever asinine reason, but goddamn! Now in my living room I usually burn a candle for about 2 hours, maybe 3. Moreover, sometimes I'll burn the same candle everyday or depending on my schedule or how late my bf gets home from work, I might skip a night. Over the course of 2 weeks, this Leaves candle was halfway done! That's beyond ridiculous! Ordinarily, by 2 weeks with you just burning it for 2-3 hours, you wouldn't be anywhere halfway done. And I don't remember post-shortened burn time candles burning down this quickly! Anyway, the candle in the pic above is done and I'm about to burn my second Leaves. At this rate, it'll be done by Halloween when I plan on changing to my second round of autumn scents.

So for all of you Leaves lovers, be forewarned that your Leaves candle might burn to down really fast. But if like you're like me and you want to relish in all the Leaves goodness, I suggest getting one from last year or anytime before from Amazon or Evilbay so you can burn with reckless abandon.

NEWNESS UPDATE: The Perfect Wish Collection

Just when you've gotten used to all of the current fall scents and have wrapped your brain around of the upcoming winter scents, there is a new collection of scents comin our way....

This collection appears to be various bright and vibrant scents in colored glittery tumblers meant to uplift and invigorate you; scents that would, oh I dunno, make you wanna ignite the light and let it shine and own the night like the 4th of July!

So back in 2012 (I think), BB&W had a collection called "The Good Life" collection; it was a scent of scents with various aromatherapy notes/blends with very sappy saccharine emotion themed names like "Happy" "Passion" "Peace" "Joy", etc. Many of these later became scents that we all know and love - "Relax" = Lavender Vanilla, "Relief" = Eucalyptus Mint, "Renew" = Renew&Refresh, "Flirt" = Paris Daydream/Sparkling Icicles and so on and soforth. (BTW Touchthefiretwice did an awesome review on these on his channel if you're interested). Anyway, the point of all this was that this new collection reminds me a lot of those Good Life candles.

So here are the scents in this collection. Check out these sappy vague note descriptions...

Live in Sunshine ~ Fresh Blooms  I wish...to live in the sunshine.  Fresh Blossom's sun-kissed flower petals, green willow leaves and a splash of citrus will make this wish come true. (Garden Party? Bloom/First Bloom? Poppy Sunshine/Wild Poppies?)

Sparkle Everyday ~ Confetti Cupcake  I wish... to sparkle everyday.  Everyone deserves the chance to sparkle...wish granted with confetti cupcakes glittering blend of fresh baked cake, peaks of sweet buttercream and shimmering sprinkles. (repcakage of Frosted Cupcake...not surprise there)

Go with the Flow ~ Bergamot Waters I wish...to go with the flow. Make this wish come true effortlessly with Turquoise Waters easy mix of fresh water notes, sunlight and a hint of sea spray (people are saying that it's a repackage of Turquoise Waters, which is a repackage of Sea Spray)

Light up the Room ~ Green Apple Champagne I wish...to light up the room. Sparkling Apple Champagne delightful blend of crisp green apple, shimmering amber and bergamot causes smiles that are brighter than candlelight. (I thought maybe Wasabi Apple, but I'm now thinkin Green Apple Orchard)

Dream Big ~ Lavender Clouds I wish...to dream big.  Start making your dreams reality with Lavender Clouds and get inspired by soft lavender flowers, luxurious white musk and a touch of coriander. (I and many others were hoping this would turn out to be Lavender Marshmallow but it doesn't look like it. Maybe Lavender Market from back in the day)

Dance 'Til Dawn ~Tropical Tango I wish to dance 'til dawn. Simply follow the smooth coconut, vibrant mango and bubbly champagne notes in tropical tango and you'll start to cha, cha, cha.  (apparently this smells like Champagne Toast with a hint of mango)

Be Daring ~ Spiced Saffron Redwood I wish... to be daring, Dare to be inspired by spiced saffron and Redwoods ruby red cranberries, rare saffron and California Redwood. (I'm gonna go with Wine Cellar however I have a sneaky suspicion this is gonna be Autumn Night...again!)

Wine Down ~ Pomegranate Sangria - I wish... to wind down. Make the stresses of the disappear with Pomegranate Sangria's effervescent blend of oaky white wine, apples and a hint of juicy pomegranate seeds (Pomegranate Spritzer from Summer Sips? Pomegranate Lemonade?)

I heard conflicting things about when this collection was gonna be hitting stores - some say this week, some say after Halloween. Now whether or not these will be hitting all stores or just test stores remains to be seen. I have a funny feeling they're just gonna hit test stores soon first and the rest of us unfortunates near regular stores won't se them til after SAS. Since these scents come across very spring-y, I can't see them releasing these anytime soon, not with all of the holiday/winter candles comin our way.

At the risk of soundin like a Negative Nancy, I'm not excited about this collection at all! Much like the Intrigue and Opulence collection, there's a whole lot of fuss, a whole lot of hype, a whole of sparkly razzle-dazzle but in the end it's just not worth - just a bunch of recycled repackages with light throws and quick burn time in pretty decorated tumblers; you're just payin for the glass!

For more info and pics, check out Lifeinsidethepage (from where I got the note descriptions) or, if you're on Instagram, glenn-girl81

WALK 'N' SNIFF: Intrigue and Opulence

So I was in the City takin care of business and decided to take a trip to my favorite BBW and see what it had in store

It had all of the lidless color glass core scents..which I just realized that I didn't sniff them. Not that it matters cuz they're all scents that I know already

The store also had the Snow and Slopes candles that are online - Winter, Hot Buttered Rum, Fresh Balsam, etc. It also had a mason Jar of Alpine Frost. Alpine Frost is...aight. On cold sniff, it does kinda smell like a Pine-Sol; just a generic clean, fresh "pine" scent with a hint of citrus. It reminds me of a failed test scent last winter called "Frosted Pine"  . Less intense, less dirty smelling and with the faintest slightest hint of something orangey.

And finally there was the Intrigue and Opulence candles sitting in a grand shrine in the center front of the store. *sigh They all smelled very pleasant and I liked the look of the glasses...but they are not, I repeat, NOT worth $30! They're all repackages!!!

Cardamom and Suede
*sigh Just thinking of this candle just pisses me off. So let's not beat around the bush, this is a straight repack of..wait for it..AUTUMN NIGHT!!!! I already ranted and raved about Holly Jolly Christmas being a repack of Autumn Night and now here we go again! I sniffed it and went "oh hell naw!!!"Seriously, what is so great about Autumn friggin Night that it's been repackaged TWICE?! There is NOTHING intriguing or opulent about Autumn Nights for it to be a part of this collection!

Interestingly enough, I said very early on that I smelled cardamom in Autumn Night. Touchthefiretwice said the exact same thing in his review vid..he smelled cardamom. And look what its new name is. And there you have it!

Smoked Berries and Incense
I went back and forth with this one, I didn't know if I like it or not. The scent itself his very straightforward - dark red berries (cranberries and black currants) with an intense earthy "incense-y" smell; saffron, patchouli, maybe sandalwood. This is only conjecture but I believe this might be a repackage of Wine Cellar/Mulled Wine from last year's Prestige/Ski Den collection...I think

Baltic Black Pearl
This one is by far the winner of this collection. If it was regular price, I would've bought it. This scent is right up my alley - smooth, sexy, sensual, sophisticated aka "COLOGNE-Y" It kinda reminds me of Black Pepper Bergamot, just slightly less spicy but it still has that sensuous masculine vibe to it like BPB. It's smells sooooo familiar, it's a repackage of something but I just cant put my finger on it. Somebody out there, help me out - what is Baltic Black Pearl a repackage of?!

Sparkling Amber
This one really isn't worth talking about. It's straightup Sensual Amber. If you're familiar with that scent and like it, that's what Sparkling Amber is.

Topaz Waters
So this was the only one other that Baltic Black Pearl that I liked but I thought it was unneccesary and again it's a repackage just like all the rest of them. At first I thought it might Island Waters from the Aloha Collection but it might actually be Turquoise Waters from the Coastal Cool collection. Topaz Waters has that same "wateriness" aka cucumber melon with light hints of floral. That said, it's a repackage of one of those scents. Ironically, both of those scents themselves are repackages!

I also sniffed the three 34.50 candles - Sapphire Sky, Golden Woods and Crimson Velvet. ALL THREE on cold throw were so light to the point of being nonexistent. They were all so boring, uninspired and forgettable!

You know, big ups to those y'all out there wastin....ahem I mean spending your money on these scents. I personally will not! I flat out refuse! Not because I'm being cheap, it's just the principle of the thing! What are we paying this for?! They're ALL repackages and not even good repackages or repackages of old forgotten Slatkin era classic. The fact that there is a repackage of AUTUMN FRIGGIN NIGHT in this collection only strengthens my resolve to buy any of these! And they're all so LIGHT! You already know the throw is gonna be weak! And how quick is the burn time? Are they just as super fast as the regular priced ones? They aren't new or repackages of old better scents, the cold throws are all light and there is no guarantee that the burn time has been reduced...again, I ask why are these so expensive? Basically, you're paying for the colored glass! Hell, you can dye your own BBW tumblrs cheaply for less money, hell I did it before!

Bath and Body Works, y'all have got to do better than this!!!!!

Description: Have a holly jolly Christmas with this festive blend of bright mandarin, red pomegranate and fresh balsam

So, I saw this SOB on Evilbay and thought about getting it cuz very very few people were talking about it. So after going back and forth and deliberating with myself, I decided just to go ahead and get it just to ease my curiousity. That was a big mistake!

Now some people were saying that HJC smelled like Winter...and I was like "No, can't be. That doesn't make an ounce of sense!" I get a little leery and distrustful when folks on various social media start comparing scents and saying suchandsuch smells like suchandsuch cuz many of these people are relatively new to BBW and don't know any scents past 2013...like Winter. Anyhoo, based on the notes, I had a hunch that maybe it was a repackage of an old Slatkin-era Christmas classic called "Winter Garland"

Now the notes for that was...

"A sparkling combination of cranberry champagne, blood orange and red berry mixed with the essence of evergreen moss, white cedar and toasted clove"

cranberry champagne = pomegranate
evergreen moss and white cedar = fresh balsam
blood orange = bright mandarin

With the way BBW mixes and twists and renames their notes, it's easy to see how I came to that conclusion. Unfortunately, I was wrong, very wrong!

The packaged arrived and the candle itself was perfectly wrapped. I took a whiff of the candle hoping to get a noseful of Winter Garland-y goodness but instead I smelled...wait for it...AUTUMN FRIGGIN' NIGHT!!!!! I was like "AW HELL NAW!!!!" I kept huffin it over and over to make sure I wasn't trippin....but I wasn't. I even took out an actual Autumn Night and did a side by side sniff comparison - they smelled JUST ALIKE! Granted, HJC smells slightly sweeter and not as intensely woodsy/smoky but the base notes smell exactly alike! I couldn't believe it, I stood there in utter disbelief! I couldn't believe that out of all the better test scents there were on Evilbay that I wasted my money on this one! I seriously wanted to toss this piece of crap out of the window!

So yeah ladies and gentlemen, Holly Jolly Christmas is a repackage of Autumn Night!!!

Which leads me to my next question...WHY?! What the f*** does Autumn Night have to do with Christmas?! Now don't get me wrong, I really really like Autumn Night (REVIEW TO COME)...as an AUTUMN SCENT! Hell, the word "AUTUMN" is in the friggin name!!!! How does an autumn scentnsuddenly become a winter scent?! Why would anyone want to burn this in winter, especially at Christmas time?! There are SOOOOOOOO many scents that could've been used instead of AN - Snow DayChestnut & CloveFrosted PineWhite Barn Christmas/Apple GarlandSleigh RideHolly Wreath, Winter WonderlandHoliday PomanderOrange Clove....HELLO, MUTHA-EFFIN' WINTER GARLAND!!! Again, I ask, why Autumn Night?!

Furthermore, I hate being bullshitted against and this is flagrant bullshit! How the actual f*** does "nutmeg/cinnamon stick/applewood/cedar" magically transform into "pomegranate/balsam/mandarin"?! Even the notes for Autumn Night are utter bullshit cuz don't nobody smell any of those notes and the ones who claim that they do are in deep denial!

I'm really REALLY pissed off. I'm pissed off at BBW for releasing this shit..oh and get this, apparently it's gonna be a "holiday exclusive" - like Buttermint Cream last year and White Barn Christmas the year before. I'm also pissed at myself for wasting money on a scent that I hate and because the Evilbay seller doesn't do returns and has suspiciously not responded to my email reply that I hated it (after audaciously asking me to give her a good review), I'm stuck with it.

And so it is written...

Holly Jolly Christmas...Holly Jolly Shitmas more like it!
