NEWNESS UPDATE: Summer 2019 Test Candles

Well gang, after the Easter and Mother's Day candles/floorset release, it looks will be BBW will officially be done with spring. I say that because BBW is currently testing the first round of summer candles.

At the moment, there are 2 candle collection testing.

The first collection is a group of conceptual summer scents of the beachy variety. The labels are wraparound (doesn't look that is going away anytime soon) with various blue and white mosaic-esque or marble-ish designs.

New scents include...

Beachscape -Fresh Sea Breeze, Warm Cotton, Sweet Lotus Blossom (this sounds like Beach Blossom; same notes-ish - Ocean Lotus, Soft Beach Air, Warm Musk)

 Coastal Watermelon - Juicy Watermelon, Pinch of Pink Sea Salts, Ocean Waves (NOT Watermelon Lemonade or Watermelon Ice)

Returning scents include Beach Sage & Mint (YASSS), Pineapple Mango, Copper Coconut and
Ma-blah-gony Stankwood (*EYEROLL)

The second collection has wraparound labels (again) with various beach scenes. The overall theme seems to be trips to the beach and walking along the boardwalk. The collection is split some having a
square sign with the scent name and the others having elaborately framed circle/oval signs.

The new "square sign" scents include...

 The Perfect Summer - Sun-Citrus, Orange Blossoms, Coconut Husk (if you're thinkin it's new, it's not. It's a repackage of Suntan (aka Poolside ); not conjecture, it literally says "Suntan" on the bottom

 Returning scents Island Papaya, Tiki Beach and Berry Waffle Cone

 New scents with the "circle sign" include 

 Fresh Sea Walk - Seaside Orange Blossom, Sparkling Bergamot, Blue Cedar (sounds suspiciously sounds like Orange Blossom & Driftwood )

 Salted Ocean Air - Fresh Ocean Mist, Warm Summer Winds, Beach Musk (please PLEASE be Beach Day)

The returning scent is Aloha Kiwi Passionfruit

CANDLE RETROSPECTIVE: Brozeblogger's Top 20 Candles OF ALL TIME

Well dear readers, today's New Year's Eve - we're almost at the finish line and soon we'll be able to wave goodbye and not so fond farewell to the dumpster fire that was 2020. Normally, as per my own tradition, in honor of New Year's I would write a retrospective look back on the past year and list what I thought were the best new scents that were released. Obviously I couldn't do that this year - with the pandemic, I've been avoiding stores thus couldn't do my usual WALK N SNIFFs nor did I particularly buy very much as I'm not about that shipping/handling plus tax life. But as this this New Years hits a bit differently than past ones and is the beginning of a new decade, I thought I do something different. NEWNESS UPDATE: Spring 2021 Candles

 Well we made it to 2021! I personally feel like the new year started last week on January 20th; the world got a little less crazy and I feel like I can breath again. No, things are certainly not ideal and nowhere near back to the normal but it's slowly getting there. I hadn't had much to say on here lately. I didn't engage in any SAS shenanigans for obvious reasons. Besides a few wf bulbs during the most recent sale, I haven't really bought anything. I've kinda just been laying low and slimming down my collection as I'm not about the collecting/stocking up life anymore; either burning things or giving and/or selling them away. Occasionally I peep my head into social media to see what's poppin and what newness (that I won't get to see or smell for myself to review) is heading our way.
