NEWNESS UPDATE: Winter SAS 2020/Spring 2021 Candles

Well dear readers, 2020 is almost over...thank gawd! Now that Christmas is over (which I hope everyone who celebrates had a relatively merry one), it is official spring at BBW...well all T all shade, it's been spring since Candle Day Weekend.

Anyhoo, there's a crapton of stuff heading our way; some are already online and in store while the rest while be trickling in after SAS is over. Let's start talkin candle collections.

So I've talked this briefly in another post, but this collection popped up online and in stores first - the "Pop Culture" Collection, a Summer Sips-esque collection of drink inspired scents. Returning scents include Watermelon Lemonade, Pink Apple Punch, Aloha Kiwi Passionfruit, Peach Bellini and Island Margarita. The one lone new scent is...

Cookies & Cream Milkshake - Chocolate Cookie Crumbles, Vanilla Bean Ice Cream, Chocolate Drizzle (the consensus is this is basically Hot Cocoa & Cream mixed with Vanilla Bean Marshmallow)

 

Clementine Sherbet (which popped up randomly last spring) is back but folks say that this version has been tweaked and is more creamier

The next collection is a Valentine's Day themed (because the tumblers are shades of red and pink I'm guessin) called the "Good Day" collection. Returning scents include Pink Apple Punch and Pink Lilac & Vanilla. The new scents are...

Bubbly Rosé - Pink Sparkling Rosé, Sweet Blood Orange, Splash of Cranberry Juice (I was hoping this be Winter Garland {which had notes of cranberry champagne and blood orange} or something but alas, no)

Pineapple Pancakes

Whipped Coffee - Shot of Espresso,  Whipped Scent Cream, Sugar Crystals (word is it's quite similar to White Caramel Cold Brew)

Wildberry Jam Donut - Sweet Wildberry Jam, Powdered Donut, Brown Sugar Crumble (I've heard that this might be a repackage of Blackberry Cobbler from last spring/summer, make sense as they kinda have very similar notes) 

The next collection is the "Patisserie Collection" with matching body care. I wonder if this collection is connected to the Good Day collection as they have the same labels just not red or pink. The returning scents are Be Mine ~ Candy Hearts, Champagne Toast, Strawberry Pound Cake and Coconut Cream Pie. 

There have been whispers of other candles appearing, namely Lemon Cake Pop, White Lavender & Eucalyptus and Honeysuckle & Freesia but I have no clue whether they are gonna show up and if so, which collection

The next collection is sort of Freshed Picked-esque mix of fruity scents and herbal scents. Returning scents are Eucalyptus Rain, Fresh Orange, Lemon Mint Leaf, Market Peach and Pineapple Mango and Sunny Lime. New scents are..

Sea Salt & Balsam - Salted Ocean Air, Crisp Coastal Waves, Oceanside Balsam (I'm assuming this Pacific Coastal Air as they have the same notes. )

Sugared Lemonade - Fresh Lemon Juice, Sugar Crystals, Crushed Ice (I wonder how close this is to the old Fresh Lemonade

Green Tea & Aloe - Green Tea Leaves, Refreshing Aloe, White Sage (this sounds lovely...hopefully it's not White Tea & Sage)

And we have another Fresh Picked-esque collection called "Bright Off the Vine" with BBW's favorite halfandhalf designed tumblers. Returning scents are Black Cherry MerNO, Mango Maitai, and Raspberry Tangerine. New scents are...

Garden Apple & Sage - Golden Apples, Fresh Garden Sage, Crisp Pear Blossoms (I thought for sure this would Fresh Morning Air, but almost everyone agrees this sells like Apple Weather which was basically Farmstand/Heirloom Apple mixed with Sweater Weather so it makes sense)

Iced Coconut Milk - Fresh Coconut Milk, Crushed Ice, Sweet Vanilla Creme (possible repackage of Vanilla Chai Latte from last spring, though some gave said it smells more tropical like Honolulu Sun)

Pink Watermelon - Juicy Pink Watermelon, Sugared Strawberry Blossoms, Lime Zest (the notes sound really intrigued but as I feared, this supposedly smells like Watermelon Lemonade sans lemonade)

So, you remember Kate from this winter who brought us all to her home for Christmas? Well now, she's bringing us to her guesthouse (plantation?) in the Deep South, with the "Southern Escape" collection. Returning scents are Banana Bundt Cake, Blackberry & Basil, Bowties & Bourbon, Peach Bellini, Southern Magnolia and Watermelon BLEHmonade. New scents are...

Blueberry Lemonade Spritz - Juicy Blueberries, Lavender Petals, Lemon Juice (I'm guessin this just Blueberry Lavender Lemonade; it ran out almost immediately online so it was popular enough to be brought back)

Sweet Mint Julep - Crushed Rosemary Mint, Splash of Bourbon, Sweet Vanilla (we did have a Mint Julep mini candle a few years ago but I don't know if these are the same)

A couple of summery beachy sounding wf bulbs appeared online recently; I'm assuming there's gonna be a summery beachy collection with matching candles for these bulbs...

Paradise Coconut -  Juicy Pineapple, Sugarcane, Coconut Milk (Island Daydream?)

Orange Sunrise - Sweet Orange, Juicy Peach, Sugarcane (Coral Seashell? Calypso Sun?)

Pacific Coastline -  Ocean Mists, Vetiver Woods, Pacific Breezes (sounds suspiciously Pacific Coast Highway, same exact notes)

Seaside Waves - White-Capped Waves, Bright Citrus Zest, Sea Salt (could be Sparkling Waves or Beach Day, I'd be cool with either)

Also there are 2 mysterious beachy summery candles that could be in an upcoming collection..

Warm Ocean Breeze (no notes but probably Salted Ocean Air or something similar) as well as Emerald Waters (there was a test candle called Flirt that mentioned notes of "emerald waters", that candle was later repackaged as Sparkling Icicles)
