NEWNESS UPDATE: Even More Winter 2020 Candles

 I forgot to mention this in my last NEWNESS UPDATE post

More candles are being added to the WB side and these candles are a little different. These candles have the typical colored frosted tumblers we always see BUT these have..wait for it..GLASS LIDS! Sooooo fancy! *eyeroll indifferent shrug

And of course, because of said glass lids, it warrants these candles being more expensive than usual.

I mean I guess the glass lids are cool but as always it annoys me that more emphasis are being put on the looks of the candles and NOT the scents themselves. Like, look at the scent choices were getting for this collection...

Vanilla Birch (meh), Vanilla Bean Noel (even bigger meh), Winter Candy Apple (biggest meh of them all), White Gardenia (cuz nothing says Christmastime like friggin White Gardenia).

Presumably Twisted Peppermint is probably gonna be added as the other 2 members of the BBW Holiday trifecta are in attendance. And I'm surprised Winter and Fresh Ballsack haven't been thrown in for added holiday authenticity but it's still early so who knows.

There are 2 new scents in the mix...

Fresh Winter Air - Zesty Citrus, Fresh Peppermint, Cold Evergreen (So the notes immediately made me think of the now forgotten failed test scent Snow & Slopes which was mint heavy scent with lemon/orange citrisness and a hint of an herbal rosemary-like pineyness. I also thought it could Blue Winter Sky from a few winters ago which was basically a winter version of Beach Sage & Mint....it's not. I was informed by a candlebuddy (shoutout to @southrencomfort) that it wasn't BWS and that it had a soapy quality to it...24K/Laundry Day ? Starry Sky? The Great Outdoors? And it still could be Snow & Slopes? Or entirely new? Still waiting to hear some confirmation)

Peach on Earth (yknow, like Peace on Earth) - Fresh Peach, Sweet Cinnamon, Frosted Vanilla

First of all...that name tho... a really bad pun

Second of all, I really don't understand BBW's insistence on shoving peach into holiday collections - Peach Meringue, Vanilla Bourbon Peach, Cranberry Peach, Peach Bellini. NO ONE thinks of the holidays and Christmas and winter in general and immediately wants or thinks of peaches.

(So right off the bat, this is NOT Peach Cobbler from last year. I thought it could be 2014's Harvest Peach..it's not. There is confirmation (shoutout to @candlesandmusic) that it is neither of those scents and that it is actual newness)

So umm, yeah...
