NEWNESS UPDATE: Fall 2020 CANDLES Part 4 ~ Fall Bakery/"Fox" Collection

I had a feeling something new would soon appear right after the recent infamous $11,95 sale (which I did, believe it or not, actually partake in) and I was right. First thing this morning, a new collection popped up online...

As you can see, it's a fall themed all bakery collection, sort of an autumnal version of Sweet Shoppe. So yeah, bakery lovers rejoice, this bud's for you!

It feels a little superfluous as there's already a bakery heavy collection. That said, I get it - most of BBW's fans are bakery lovers and fall is really BBW's time to shine as far as bakery scents go (even I tend get into bakery scents more in the fall than any other season). Bakery scents, when executed right, does make you feel good and let's face it, with as shitty as this year has been so far, we need an excuse to feel good. Why not make more bakery scents if they make people happy, right?

So at first glance, it looks like we're getting a decent mix of old/returning scents as well as newness. It's a little annoying that some of the newness are online exclusives; I'm assuming that in a normal situation, those would've been the ones getting "tested".

The new or "new" scents in this collection are...

Pumpkin Snickerdoodle - Warm Sugar Cookies, Ground Cinnamon, Fresh Nutmeg (I'm assuming this is just regular ol Snickerdoodle/Sugared Snickerdoodle from fall/winters past with "pumpkin" added to the name for basic bitch appeal)

Sugared Cherry Crisp (online exclusive)  - Sweet Cherries, Graham Cracker Crumble, Crushed Almonds (not particularly very autumnal but whatevs. It'll be interesting to see how close this is to Sweet Cherry Pie)

Pumpkin Cookie Dough (online exclusive) - Homemade Cookie Dough, Creamy Pumpkin, Cinnamon Sugar (There's already Pumpkin Snickerdoodle, so I dunno the point of having this too. Anyhoo, I'm guessin this is Frosted Pumpkin Cookie  from earlier this summer or failed test scent Pumpkin Sugar Cookie from backintheday)

Dutch Apple Waffles - Warm Buttermilk Waffles, Baked Apple Slices, Ground Nutmeg (Apple Pumpkin Pancakes? Or...GASP...APPLE CRUMBLE?)

Returning scents include Warm Apple Pie (online exclusive, for whatever reason), Pumpkin Pecan Waffles, Cinnamon Irish Cream, Shit Cinnamon Poopkin (eyeroll), Vanilla Pumpkin Marshmallow, Strawberry Poundcake (this is a fall scent now? and why is this an online exclusive?!)), Pumpkin Apple (do we need this in 2 different collections?!), and Blueberry Maple Pancakes (yet another scent that's already in another collection!!!)

So a looong time ago, @lifeinsidethepage posted pictures from handbook for upcoming floorsets of possible future candles featuring this collection. So far every candle made the cut but one - Pumpkin Cupcake, a scent that everyone and their granda has been begging for this year. I dunno if it's gonna be a late addition or it's not coming out at all.

ADDENDUM: Pumpkin Cupcake has been added as well White Pumpkin and Caramel Pumpkin Swirl

There was also another group of bakery scents with an actual Sweet Shoppe theme - Pumpkin Pie, The Perfect Autumn (random but ok) ,an actual 3wick version of Pumpkin Spice Latte, Salted Butterscotch and Toasted Coconut Mocha

I'm not sure if this group of candles is a separate collection or part of the aforementioned collection that came out today. I also don't if these will be late additions or didn't make the cut. We shall see...

  1. Strawberry Poundcake as a fall scent is genuinely the biggest WTF I have ever seen in my life? That makes literally no scents. (Get it? Sense? Scents? I'm sorry lol.)
